The following useful improvements have been made to the SESResultsViewer.

Leakage Current Density from a 1 cm² Holiday

SESResultsViewer now enables plotting of the 1 cm² holiday current density in HIFREQ for both Computation and Configuration plots. The software calculates the current density at coating defects (referred to as holidays), an important parameter for assessing AC corrosion risk in pipelines. The 1 cm² holiday leakage current density is defined as the ratio of the coating stress voltage to the product of the holiday resistance and the 1 cm² reference area.

This calculation is performed only for coated conductors; for bare conductors, the reported value is zero.

Maximum Values Obtained Within Each Zone in Spot 2D Plots

When custom zones are defined in the Threshold Editor, the Spot 2D plot for touch and step voltages now conveniently displays the maximum value within each zone, as illustrated in the example plot below.
