CorrCAD, SESDigitizer, and CPCalculator

Over the past year, Corrosion programs have not introduced many major new features, as this release has primarily focused on consolidating the engineering functionalities introduced at the last UGC, as well as improving stability and overall performance.

Nevertheless, several minor enhancements have been implemented in the CorrCAD application. The key improvements are as follows:

Automatic Detection of Polarization Requirements: The program now automatically detects whether sacrificial anodes or an impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system are defined. If neither is present, the Compute with Polarization option is disabled.

In such cases, polarization-based calculations are not applicable. Since results with and without polarization can differ significantly, carrying out Compute with Polarization process without a defined protection system may lead to inaccurate interpretations.

New User Interface to Support Google Earth Plotting: The user interface for defining Google Earth parameters has been redesigned to provide complete user input fields, consistent with other applications such as SESResultsViewer and RowCAD.

Improved Table Grid Performance: The data grid tables across the application have been significantly enhanced to support advanced operations, including:

• Seamless copy/paste integration with Excel
• Copy/paste within the tables
• Multi-cell editing capabilities
• Multi-line insertion and deletion
• Additional usability improvements
