As in previous years, the 2002 CDEGS Users Group meeting was an enjoyable
experience from a technical as well as social perspective.
Both users and SES attendees benefited from the informative technical
exchange sessions and presentations. Several users described innovative
ways to use CDEGS in order to solve extremely difficult problems. SES
attendees presented several technical papers describing new methods that
extend and enhance the capabilities of the CDEGS software as well as new
utilities that reduce considerably the effort and time required to conduct
a complete analysis.
The organization of the Users Group was flawless and the social activities
that followed the technical sessions were a delight.
The beach volleyball events were particularly fun and more importantly, an
efficient stimulus for sharpening our appetites for the late evening gargantuan
and delicious feast.
