This is a patch update for SES Software 2006-2007, Version 13.2.32; the problems listed below have been fixed in this update.
Prerequisites
You must have installed the full distribution of SES Software 2006-2007 (13.2.32, 13.2.40, or 13.2.44). Depending on the version you have installed, you will be required to install all of the patches since that version of the software. For example, if you have installed Version 13.2.32, then you must also install the following patch versions before applying this patch:
- Version 13.2.40
- Version 13.2.44
You can check the version of the installed SES Software 2006 application by clicking on its link, "Click here for support information", in the "Add or Remove Programs" utility in the Control Panel. Any recent patch that is installed will also appear under the "SES Software 2006" entry in the programs list of the utility.
Installation Instructions
1. Once you have downloaded the update file, Patch13246.exe, to a local folder (e.g., C:\Temp), please close all SES software programs prior to installing this update.
2. Run the update file, Patch13246.exe.
3. Click on the Next button to extract the contents of this self-extracting executable to a temporary folder (do not extract to the SES software installation folder). You may define a temporary folder (e.g., C:\Temp\Patch13246) that is easy to access since you may have to browse to that folder after the extraction process has completed.
4. Click on the Next button to proceed with the extraction process.
5. The update will automatically start after the extraction has been completed.
(If the update does not start automatically, then execute the Update.exe file manually, from the folder specified in Step 3, to start the update process).
6. Once the update has completed, you may delete the temporary folder specified in Step 3.
Bug-Fix
The following problems have been fixed in this patch update:
Input Toolbox: For new cases created in Tralin, the default resistivity value for the uniform soil model is now provided by the software. In the unpatched version, an error message would be issued by the computations: "Top layer is not specified".
