介绍

    工程师和科学家现在更多的依靠由自己机构以外人员或专门的公司所开发的工程软件,而不是十年前或更早的情况。因此,在选择专门的工程软件包之前需要解答一些重要的问题:

            是否精确,如何确定其准确性?

            是否是很好的文件?

            是否有充分的支持(技术支持和相应的升级)?

            如果软件有缺陷,用户是否可以获得帮助进行修改或支持。

    上述问题都非常重要,然而第一个问题对安全性和任何工程研究或设计的集成是最重要的,第二个问题提出了项目和技术软件使用的基本要求。换句话说,好的工程软件必须有足够的文件和证明报告,这意味着软件开发商必须有能力和必要的资源进行软件的证明测试。
